Bowling in Novena Square

24 09 2007

If you happen to be around Novena Square these few days, do pop by to catch some bowling action, right smack in the foyer:

Seems like there’s some sort of bowling competition going on. These guys have constructed two bowling lanes in the mall’s main foyer. It draws quite a big crowd - well, it’s not everyday that one can watch a bowling competition from the SIDES of the lanes.

While I was there, there was this primary school girl who could really bowl (left lane in above photo). She managed at least a 9-point in every frame. When I was her age, erm, what does a bowling ball look like har? Haha. :)

Our 5th wedding anniversary

22 09 2007

I really do not blog frequently enough. Just a few articles before, I blogged about our 4th wedding anniversary, and now I’m already writing about our 5th!

This year’s falls on a Friday morning. You had taken the morning off as you had worked till the wee hours the previous night. Our first destination of the day was St Hildas church, to visit Rev Huang. As he had to lead a senior citizen’s gathering, we ate lunch with 丽文师母 instead at Aston’s western food. After that, we each went back to work.

In the evening, we headed to Suntec’s Swiss Culture. We ate cheese fondue and tenderloin cubes:

Dessert was also fondue - a chocolate one with fruits:

After that, it was shopping time at Carrefour. We only managed to buy a simple uncooked pizza and some mangoes for tomorrow’s lunch. We then took the free shuttle bus to City Hall MRT.

Here’s looking forward to our 6th, with great differences, prayerfully. :)
