Painting a wall

Today is the day to paint a wall in our living room as the “feature wall”. After much deliberation, we chose Nippon Paint Easy Wash’s Sunray colour, which is essentially bright orange.

In the process of painting, I replaced the yellowish HDB electrical socket on that wall with a new silver one:

Phew, after more than half a day of toiling, here’s the finished result:

For the record, I used a 1-litre tin for the entire wall in 3 coats.

Hey, I need to get tips from you. I am seriously thinking of DYI … even the current econ climate.

Let’s catch up.

Also, I need to do up the socket too. Need suggestion. My requirement is simple. I just need one or two or three rows of 24 sockets in total.
